White Tigers *Bengal Tigers* About White Tigers

   White Tigers are also known as Bengal Tigers. The Bengal Tiger is about 3 meters long in size. These are big cats and some of the most beautiful cats in the world. The Bengal Tiger can get up to around 500 pounds *that is about 200 kg in weight. Bengal Tigers have stripes even darker than the tiger stripes seen on Siberian Tigers. White Tigers have blue eyes and a beautiful pink nose. I could not do my tiger face painting to even do justice to such beautiful animals. White tigers are normally found in South Eastern Asia, Southern India and of course found in some zoos through out the world. Though the White Tiger called the Bengal Tiger is not legal to hunt it is sadly true that people still seem to hunt tigers for fur ect. The Bengal tiger is an endangered species that is on the brink of extinction due to the ways of humans and evil tiger hunters.

   White Tigers can swim very well but, they are not so fast or good at climbing like other tigers are. There are other species or types of white tigers as you may find in search for white tigers and pictures of different types of tigers and cats. There are Siberian Tigers, Tigers in South China and Indochinese Tigers & Sumatran Tigers. The Sumatran Tiger is said to be the smallest of all the surviving sub species of the white tiger. The male Sumatran tigers average length is only about 6 foot 8 inches long and they only weigh up to around 300 pounds. The Sumatran tigers have more of a bead or tiger beard than the other tigers in ways. The Male Tiger seems to have an amazing beard of beautiful fur that lines the face of yet another of the most beautiful cats in the world.

   Sadly also the Sumatran Tiger are not so common to see in the wild. It is said that only about 400 Sumatran Tigers are found in the wild.
